Apr 14, 2023

Brittany Endreszl, is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) and she has been a member of Chartiers Center’s Outpatient and Substance Use Outpatient Team for almost 2 years. As a CRNP, Brittany is an integral part of the treatment team. Her job entails seeing clients, prescribing medications, ordering blood work and collaborating with Primary Care Physicians. Brittany greets staff and clients with a warm smile and calm demeanor.

Brittany has worked in the medical field for over 10 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her experiences incorporated mental health and drug and alcohol treatment, and she has worked directly in the field for 3+ years now.

As a member of the Treatment Team, Brittany sees clients who are dealing with substance use and behavioral health challenges. She has offered the following, “In my clinical practice, I have found that patients are able to reach and maintain sobriety when they are motivated to quit, by needing a reason to quit, setting achievable goals, eliminating temptations, coping, or avoiding triggers, and building a strong support system.” She went on to share her favorite quote, “Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

What Is Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation?

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services are founded on the firm belief that people can and do recover from mental illness, including the most severe and persistent diagnoses. Psych Rehab providers define recovery not by a lack of symptoms, but by the presence of meaning and purpose in one’s life. Participants in Chartiers Center’s Mobile Psych Rehab (MPR) program choose the recovery goals they want to work on and then meet regularly with their MPR staff to learn, enhance, and practice the skills they need to reach those goals.

While every Veteran’s story is unique, the mental-health challenges they face often share common threads: post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, substance use, and a lingering sense of isolation. The good news is that effective, compassionate treatment options exist—and awareness and accessibility have grown dramatically over the past decade.
