Old Info on the picnic
In response to the hardship experienced by our Bridgeville neighbors after the flood, Chartiers Center is hosting a Flood Relief Picnic. The picnic will be held on Tuesday, July 31st , 5-7pm, at the Triangle Park gazebo area across the street from the main Bridgeville office. Anyone who was impacted by the flood is invited to attend. We will provide  a free  dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, fruit, chips, cookies and drinks! Please pass this info along to your clients, friends and family in the area who may have been affected.
We are grateful to the local churches that have responded to this idea and have offered donations of food and drink. Chartiers is happy for the opportunity to support our community and to help those still struggling with the after affects of the flood. Together we can enjoy a meal  and take a break from all the clean up and repairs!
If you have questions or want to make a donation please call Mary Kay Bonn 412 221-3302 ext.118

What Is Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation?

What Is Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation?

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services are founded on the firm belief that people can and do recover from mental illness, including the most severe and persistent diagnoses. Psych Rehab providers define recovery not by a lack of symptoms, but by the presence of meaning and purpose in one’s life. Participants in Chartiers Center’s Mobile Psych Rehab (MPR) program choose the recovery goals they want to work on and then meet regularly with their MPR staff to learn, enhance, and practice the skills they need to reach those goals.

Healing Invisible Wounds

For many Veterans, the battle doesn’t end when they return home. The experiences of deployment, combat exposure, loss, and the transition back to civilian life can take a profound toll on mental well-being. While every Veteran’s story is unique, the mental-health challenges they face often share common threads: post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, substance use, and a lingering sense of isolation. The good news is that effective, compassionate treatment options exist—and awareness and accessibility have grown dramatically over the past decade.
