OUTPATIENT THERAPY
Chartiers Center’s Outpatient program helps provide support, stability and relief to our consumers by empowering them to learn different ways to handle their mental health challenges and complexities.
From the learning about our consumers’ medical
history to educating consumers about different tools
and medications can help create a road map to an individual’s recovery.
Working collaboratively with our consumers, our therapists create a treatment plan that focus on their unique goals. Our Psychiatrist/CRNP will not only prescribe medication (if needed), but also educate our consumers about them and how to take them. Since our consumers are part of their own treatment team, the care they receive is more focused on their needs, wants and desires.

RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM
Chartiers Center’s Residential Treatment Program (RTP) serves as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization or as a step-down from inpatient care. The program provides a voluntary, therapeutic, residential placement in our 100% smoke free facility nested within the Bridgeville community. Our goal is to help individuals succeed in their transition between levels of care, such as hospital to community residence or community residence to home.
Our RTP provides support to individuals experiencing, or at risk of, an exacerbation of the symptoms of their mental illness. Residents attend 6 group therapy sessions per week focusing on coping skills, wellness, recovery, communication and more, while connecting individuals to necessary resources. Administrative Service Coordinators will work in conjunction with mental health treatment to connect individuals with community services such as housing, transportation, benefits and more. They fill the gaps and collaborate with your personalized care team to help establish and maintain needed services. As a diversion from inpatient hospitalization, our goal is provide individuals with a home away from home while they stabilize their symptoms.their needs, wants and desires.
